Y'all will need a figurer, iTunes, Cydia Impactor, jailbreak IPA from the link above and jailbreakable device.

i used to have pangu JB on ix.0.iii, then updated to xi.3.1. At present when I perform updates in Cydia, it always try to remove Pangu JB only unsuccessfully. Is at that place any other way to remove pangu? cheers!

You tin either remove Cydia Substrate which will remove all tweaks and may remove Panju or to do a fresh restore to 11.3.1 using some semi restore tool and jailbreak again using Electra.

Thanks.. but I could not install OpenSSH, or anything from Cydia since it keeps trying to remove Pangu.

Has anyone successfully done this nonetheless? All I've read is everyone who has has been sent into a bootloop. I'm not trying this until I know it's safe.

if you are coming from pangu, chances are you wont JB successfully. Electra 1131 works and successfully jb my Ipad air ii. Merely since i had pangu (9.0.iii) and updated to 11.3.i without knowing Pangu is still sticking, the newly installed Cydia will not work... and i'chiliad in the midst of going to 11.4

Get to tweakbox and download the multi patch version not the vfs 1. It's the dev account 1 merely you don't demand to pay annihilation. Tweakbox shares in that location dev account with everyone.

Ignition 'dot' fun (cant mail URL, since it uses a cert but pretty sure I tin describe the URL.. not sure... but if information technology isn't immune- check coolstarorg's twitter where he @ mentions ignition and asks if they can host the dev version) grab the MP version (beneath VFS version)... its dev version
accept the cert, run Electra in airplane mode, install Filza, and add '127.0.0.1 ocsp.apple.com' in etc/hosts file to prevent Apple's foolery
No calculator needed!

In no existent rush to update. So far this 1.0 mp running like a dominate

Slap that hosts thing on there and you lot're good to go on a stable (imo) iOS version and a stone solid jb w adept rate of success injecting. Has only taken a second endeavour a couple times out of a few rotations of trying to re jb across three devices

I wasn't having any success on my 7+ 11.3.1 until I did a "Erase all content and settings" then ran information technology. Worked start or second try.

Coupled with an unreliable exploit (VFS) every bit far equally I've read, I could encounter it being problematic

Don't quote me but aye I believe and then. I call back the dev and non dev can be used interchangeable. But dev has specific ways to sideload with a profile
Provision or stuff similar mentioned from sites.
Non dev tin probably be sideloaded westward impactor vii twenty-four hour period or dev accounts. Just less reliable exploits

And then I did some testing and this is my initial findings. I did the initial jailbreak with the VFS version and then I installed the MPS version and information technology kept having the "exploit" error. I went back to the VFS version and information technology seems to be jailbreaking properly. Since the two versions use different exploits, they are probably not interchangeable.
Having said that, I borrowed my buddies dev business relationship and used it to sign the .ipa for the VFS version so I won't have to keep re-signing it every couple weeks.

I have Goose egg experience with the VFS one.Just been reading upwards on it on reddit
Extra_recipe kinda drove me nuts (the full jailbreak for 10.one on 7) with its unreliability of exploits
Mach portal was much ameliorate. Hopefully VFS isnt that bad for the average person
A jailbreak is nonetheless a jailbreak tho, especially if y'all dont reboot that often or let your phone die
I let my x.2 7 day cert run upward all the fourth dimension just dont accept to re-sign or re-jb for similar months because i try to claw it to the charger well before its expressionless. Same with an older iPad Pro
